Last week, I had a few overly ripe bananas lying around and I thought, "What better way to get rid of them than by making some cupcakes?!" I immediately whipped up some super AWESOME banana cupcakes. The cake was very thick and dense, yet so flavorful! They had the distinct flavor of fresh-baked banana bread. I topped these cuppies with a fresh strawberry buttercream frosting. Strawberries and bananas are like BFFs in the fruit world (not to mention my favorite smoothie combo!). The frosting was delicate and the prefect compliment to this hearty banana cake. It was a strawberry-banana delight!
